The final sketch for the march of Dimes eBay Charity Auction is not a life-drawing from the Cottage in Point Clark, but instead, something more akin to the rest of the work being submitted by other artists involved -a superhero.
The Batman, to be precise. One of the all time classics, rendered unclassically, although not without [...]
My dog Loki, an Australian Kelpie, soundly asleep and giving me the perfect opportunity to sketch him!
Ink and Brush.
A bottle of Yellow Tail Shiraz, polished off and waiting to be recycled.
The whole cottage is made of wood, stained dark and deep with age. I love this sketch, the third in the eBay Charity Auction for March of Dimes.
Rendered with ink & brush.
Closer to the Lighthouse, and further into land.
Neither particularly magnificent nor towering, the Lighthouse in Point Clark has something magical, almost haunting, about it.
It might have to do with the structure being over 150 years old and the first structure in Canada to be named a Historic Site.
Sketch from the far end of the beach of the lighthouse and surrounding scenery (Pretty much just Lake Huron), at Point Clark, ON.
This sketch was the first on a series of five 2″ by 3″ Sketch-Cards. The cards are to be auctioned off on eBay to raise money for the March of Dimes.

A caricature sketch of one of the amazing guitarists from the rock band The Tragically Hip, Mr. Robert Baker.
A caricature sketch of Gordon Downie, lead vocalist of Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip.

One of my favorite ways to portray Batman are through the eyes of the criminals who get brief glimpses of him in person, or the concepts a common criminal would have of him. In this case, it’s something like an alien.
WWII Soldiers
