One of my favorite ways to portray Batman are through the eyes of the criminals who get brief glimpses of him in person, or the concepts a common criminal would have of him. In this case, it’s something like an alien.

These drawings are actually the initial character sketches for a now defunct “graphic novel” project. I had a lot of fun with the research because I finally got to test out my time machine and draw some soldiers live from the era.
