CLIENT: Robert Alvo, for his upcoming book “Being a Bird in North Ameria“

The illustration was a bit of a challenge given the space restraints, literally in print, a 2 inch by 2 inch square. The idea of a bird having been introduced in North America for the sole  purpose of being hunted struck me as tragic, and darkly funny.

My solution to this was to exploit those to subjects to a concept very slightly inspired by the Looney Tunes.
