This conversation actually happened. I only remembered the punchline, delivered here verbatim, but not the details of Laura’s dream, which I made-up for the purposes of delivering this comic. I guess that makes this issue of TST semi-fiction. Or perhaps “inspired by true events.”

It should be mentioned that my fiance Laura did not have this dream specifically. She does have dreams that are very deep and thoughtful. It’s almost shameful that my dreams are what they are by comparison.
