mission serves.

Lebanon Vignettes - Balbeck

Rendered digitally, with a WACOM Tablet. I used a photo I took as reference. The illustration is of the bust of a lion, emerging from the wall at the ruins in Balbeck. The lion’s head, for whatever reason, has become iconic of the location. I thought I’d contribute with my tiny little drawing.

Lebanon Vignettes - Harisa

Rendered digitally with a Wacom Tablet, using my own photo as reference. I took a different stylistic approach to this one, using the more whimsical aesthetic seen in some of my portraiture (here and here, for example)

Lebanon Vignettes - Raousha

Rendered digitally, with a Wacom Tablet, using a photo I took as reference. Raousha is a rock formation off the coast of Lebanon, and a popular view for tourists.

Lebanon Vignettes - Cedar

Rendered digitally, using a WACOM Tablet, from a photo I took of a 3,000 year old Cedar tree, in the Cedar Reserves in Lebanon.
