The cowl, resting it the cape. I’ve always visualized the upper portion of the cowl being a helmet beneath leather, keeping it’s form and giving him protection, similar to the idea presented in “Batman Begins”. Why’s the lower half of the cowl stiff, then? I dunno, man, it’s just a sketch!
